Welcome to Faith Surf School! Hawaii’s premier family-friendly surf school, offering SURF LESSONS, BOARD RENTALS and CANOE RIDES in the heart of Waikiki. Founded in 2000 by Hawaiian Professional Surfer, Tony Moniz, Faith Surf School operates conveniently in the heart of Waikiki fronting the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort and Dukes Restaurant and in the waves where surfing has been enjoyed before it was shared to the world!
Our team of experienced, certified instructors are passionate about helping students of all ages learn to surf. We provide private, semi-private, and group lessons to ensure each student receives personalized attention and expert guidance.

We've been turning to Faith Surf School for family surfing lessons for the past 4 years. Their instructors are professional and knowledgeable, and most importantly, they are safe. I surfed for the first time this week! I was so nervous! Tammy put my mind at ease, gave me pointers and got me surfing! It was so fun an exhilarating! She had really good pointers and helped us pick out the right wave to surf. I will definitely come back and can’t wait to bring my kids here for lessons. Never in a million years did I think I’d ever be able to ride a wave.

This was an awesome lesson with Kenny, at an affordable price right on Waikiki . I went for the group lesson but didn't honestly believe I'd be able to stand up and surf, but I did on the second wave! We then had around 7 waves each and I properly stood up and surfed about five of them. Such a high. Now wanting to get more surfing in my life!

My husband and I booked our activity online in advance of our trip to Hawaii. We both are strong swimmers but have never surfed before. We had booked a group time but ended up getting a private lesson for the same cost. We received very good instruction from our guide. We were both able to get up on waves multiple times during the hour long lesson.

This is the second year in a row we have gone to Faith Surf School. We did 3 private lessons during the week for my 8 year old son and they had him riding waves all session long from the outermost breaks basically into shore. Three different instructors (Kenny, Lauren, Tony) were all excellent. Will definitely use them again next trip
